Christmas bulbs come with various bases, but the two most common are E12 (aka candelabra) and E17 (aka intermediate). The numbers refer to the width of the base (12mm and 17mm).

Shop NowThe Traditional Incandescent vs. Cutting-Edge SMD LED
The classic incandescent look of a wire filament creates a warm and inviting glow in your lights. Incandescent bulbs are more fragile, and need to be replaced more often. Additionally, while they are a less expensive bulb, they require more electricity leading to highter electrical bills. But who could argue with that cozy home look of the incandescent.
A modern LED bulb give you a hightly efficient and brilliant shine. SMD (Surface Mounted Device) LED are a small, square chip at the base of your bulb that are more durable, emit more light, and more energy efficient. We have enhanced the SMD LED with our Projector Series™ bulbs, which use a refractive lens that allows the brighter LED light to reflect off of smooth edges to give it the look of a classic incandescent filament. With the Projector Series™ bulbs, you truly get the best of both world.
Decorating Your House with Character
The most common Holiday lights come in three surface finish types; Ceramic (aka opaque), Transparent, and Faceted. Faceted bulbs have a crystal look that offers a unique sparkle. Ceramic bulbs evenly dispurse the light, giving it a solid glow. Transparent bulbs display filaments or diodes for a more traditional look.
